To “grow tennis” Tennis Australia is offering a reward program to clubs for updating members details on the TQ player database, where all members of clubs are listed for funding and insurance purposes.
Any player registered on the TQ database ( that’s you if you are a member of our club, because Tennis Australia covers your tennis insurance ) who verifies details on the database allocates $5 to Peregian Tennis Club. The seven details needed are: name, dob, gender, postcode, email, phone and club where you play.
Clubs can update players details for them, then players will receive a prompt from TQ to verify details are correct. Players can update their own details but they will need to key in tennis ID (from TQ card) and password. For any player who has not updated their details by the end of November, Tennis Australia will be sending prompts to do so.
Our members are already listed in the TQ database (and simply need to update or add a few details that are missing) but other social tennis/coached players who aren’t members can also register their details with Andrew for the database for an admin fee of $10. This means such players are then also covered by tennis insurance.
