Night-time players sometimes ask why our lights go off at 10pm…
We are a little club right in the centre of Peregian Beach, so by our very nature we’re quite different to larger clubs like Noosa and Coolum. It’s an advantage to be so central, but we have people living/working right next to us.
Our club’s long-standing ‘Lights-out by 10pm’ stipulation is based around local noise laws which designate ‘quiet hours’ as 10 pm to 7am in residential areas, and any noise/light source impacting residential areas.
