Dear Peregian Tennis Club member,
You are part of the strongest membership our club has ever had in our 40-year history, so thank you for your robust support.
We strive to ensure the club is an inviting and top-notch venue and over recent years our focus has been on infrastructure upgrades. As this work was completed at minimal-to-no-cost to the club with grants and free/trainee labour, our club holds on to its healthy financial position.
Naturally our club’s income plummeted this year but by the same token it’s hardly fair to expect you to pay full memberships when you couldn’t fully use your 2019-20 one. We asked for your opinion about this and your feedback indicates that members only support a membership discount if the club can maintain a strong financial position. We can assure you that Peregian Tennis Club is well-positioned financially and can offer our continuing members a 3-month reduction for 2020/21 memberships.
As members for 2020-21 you receive:
- Substantially discounted Court Hire rates (e.g.: Day rate of $5 per court per hour vs non-member rate of $15. Night rate is $10 per court per hour vs of non-member rate of $20).
- Discounted competition prices
- Free tennis 10am to 3pm, members only, this timeslot only, subject to court-space, booked online. Non-members pay normal rates, playing with members or not.
- Key access to courts if required
- Tennis QLD & Tennis Australia Membership
- Public Liability Insurance
- Organised tennis activities run by our court manager, like social tennis comps
- A 3-month fee reduction for 2020-21 due to closure during 2019-20 membership
Your discounted renewal: Family $150, Single $90, Junior $45 are due by 30 July 2020, payable by direct credit to the Tennis club’s Bendigo Bank account – BSB 633-000, Acct- 123040966.
Please include name & type of membership for online payment, or pay by cheque/cash to our Court manager if you prefer. You don’t need to fil out any forms to renew but if your details have changed please upddate us simply by hitting reply or email us on info@peregiantennisclub.com.au
The existing rate of: Family $190, Single $120, Junior $60 still applies to new memberships.
We also note that membership rates have been held at the same level since 2014 and they’re very competitive compared to nearby clubs.
We have our court manager Andrew Veale to thank for his smooth management of the courts. Andrew also puts in many extra hours behind the scenes helping people out as well as ensuring our club is looking its best – we are very grateful for his commitment.
Your membership voice is vital for us and we’re always keen to hear member’s feedback about club improvements and what you think our priorities should be. Let us know your comments/ideas anytime.
We’d also like to let you know our club has an updated website thanks to the Design Dude who offers our club honorary IT expertise. Thank you to website designer Paul, our new site looks fantastic and also now showcases many photos from over the years.
